Plumbing De-Regulation

In recent Texas news, the Texas State Board Of Plumbing Examiners was sunseted by the Texas Legislature this year, deregulating the plumbing industry. Governor Greg Abbott declared by executive order that this was too damaging to life safety and sanitation throughout the state so he declared that the Board will remain operational until the next Texas Legislative Session in 2021, when they will determine whether oversight will be under TDLR-Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation or remain as a board of their peers.

Burdett Homes uses only licensed plumbers in all of their projects and abides by all International Building Codes as well as city and county ordinances. Master plumbers are present and oversee all the installations and applications connections to insure proper performance throughout the warranty period.
